On these drawings, black points represent the position of the left hand to form the chords. The number inside a black point represents which finger you should pluck the string with (1 is thumb, 2 is index, etc..)

That's a song that can be played the easy way or the Ed Sheeran way, tricky picking pattern, not necessarily suited for a complete beginner.
